What pets are covered?
We currently insure dogs and cats of all breeds in the UAE. Your pet must be between 8 weeks and 10 years old to start a new policy. There is no upper age limit for renewals.
Is there a waiting period?
Yes. Accidents are covered after 48 hours. Illnesses are covered after 14 days. This is standard across the pet insurance industry and protects against insuring pre-existing conditions.
Are pre-existing conditions covered?
No. Conditions diagnosed before the policy start date or during the waiting period are not covered. However, if a condition is cured for 12 months with no treatment, it may be reconsidered.
Can I use any vet in the UAE?
Yes. Furever pet insurance works with any licensed veterinary clinic in the UAE. There is no network restriction — visit whichever vet you trust.
How do I file a claim?
Upload your vet invoice and medical records through the Furever app. Claims are reviewed within 5 business days, and reimbursement is sent directly to your bank account.
Who underwrites the insurance?
All Furever pet insurance policies are underwritten by Dubai National Insurance, a regulated insurance provider in the UAE.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your policy at any time. If you cancel within the first 30 days and have not filed a claim, you receive a full refund.
